Howdy, My search fu is not working very well today. I did several searches and did not find an answer. I work for a.gov agency. We have folks who remotely connect and use the various Oracle products as well as other products that connect to Oracle (TOAD being one). What we are doing is instead of maintaining one master tnsnames.ora file (and putting up with the problems a corrupted one brings) is for each of us to have our own tnsnames.
